Around 13.7 million Dutch people use WhatsApp (NOS, Newcom 2025), and KLM has sent boarding passes on WhatsApp since 2017. Our WhatsApp flight booking engine, built on the WhatsApp Business API, takes your reisbureau one step further: customers compare real fares, pay with iDEAL and receive the ticket in one conversation.

BOOK IN THE CHAT
Quote, collect payment by iDEAL and issue the ticket before the customer puts the phone down, all under your agency’s name.
Live on WhatsApp in About 10 Days
We look at how enquiries reach you now and which colleague picks up each type.
Meta checks your KvK registered B.V. or eenmanszaak and the number you will use, and after that customers see your verified name in every chat.
Your GDS office, consolidator contracts, NDC airlines and low cost carriers go live in a test environment.
We load your service fees and connect iDEAL, cards and Apple Pay.
Processing agreement, opt in wording, retention periods and the privacy notice are checked against the AVG
Our team runs dummy enquiries and test tickets until quoting by chat feels normal.
Real enquiries start, the WhatsApp chatbot takes the first reply, and a Travel Terminus specialist checks each new booking alongside you for a week.

Walk into our office
You sign a processing agreement (verwerkersovereenkomst) with us, conversation data can stay on EU servers, and nobody uploads the contact list of a staff phone. That is the difference between the official WhatsApp Business API and a consultant’s personal app.
Your WhatsApp AI chatbot handles the evening rush: baggage rules, quick quotes and booking confirmations. Groups, multi stop routes and wheelchair requests go to a consultant who can read everything already discussed.
Utrecht, Breda and a part timer on the sofa at home all answer from the same inbox, built on the WhatsApp API. Chats belong to the agency, so a resignation never takes a client list out the door.
Send early booking deals or last minute Turkey offers only to people who opted in. Approved templates, a one tap opt out and a consent log keep your WhatsApp marketing in line with the Telecommunicatiewet.
BUILT FOR THE NETHERLANDS
Spain, Greece and the Canary Islands, booked by families around the school holidays.
Quick breaks where the agency that answers first gets the sale.
Turkish Dutch and Moroccan Dutch families planning the yearly trip back, with peaks around Eid and in July.
Reply with a price customers can book while they are still on their phone, not after a call back.
Head office sets fares and margins once, and each shop sells them from its own verified WhatsApp Business API line.
Sell flights to Turkey, Morocco, Suriname, Poland and India to customers who prefer to message in their own language.
Subagents load credit, check net prices meant only for them and issue tickets for walk in clients by message.
Staff request a trip in the chat and the manager approves with one tap before the ticket is issued.

(19 December 2026 to 3 January 2027)
Winter sun in the Caribbean, ski trips and family visits, all regions at once.

(February 2027)
Zuid goes first from 13 February, and Noord and Midden follow from 20 February, which is also carnival season in the south.

(24 April to 2 May 2027)
Short sun trips and city breaks, with many schools adding a second week.
The chatbot replies in the language the traveller uses, so one team can serve families flying to Istanbul, Nador or Paramaribo as easily as a business traveller heading to London.
Each confirmed ticket lands in your CRM and accounting automatically. If you run other travel agency software, we connect it through the WhatsApp API and our booking API, so nobody retypes a PNR.
Family trips and winter sun to places with deep ties to the Netherlands.
Bigger trips and visits to relatives in India and beyond, often changed several times.
Work trips that need quick changes, plus regular flights for Polish and Romanian workers.
Give your website a chat storefront that uses the same inventory and markups.

(July to early September 2027)
Noord starts on 10 July, Midden on 17 July and Zuid on 24 July, so seats to Spain, Greece and Turkey sell out in three rounds.

Peaks to Morocco and Turkey around Eid, to Paramaribo around 1 July, and short trips during the October herfstvakantie.
Questions Dutch Agencies Ask About a WhatsApp Flight Booking Engine
A WhatsApp flight booking engine is software that connects live airline fares to your agency’s WhatsApp Business number. A customer in the Netherlands can search, choose a flight, pay with iDEAL and get the e-ticket in one chat. Agencies in other countries use the same product through our WhatsApp flight booking engine for Europe.
Not directly with KLM. The KLM WhatsApp channel only handles trips that are already booked, such as confirmations, check in and boarding passes. To buy a new KLM ticket in WhatsApp, a traveller needs a travel agency that runs a WhatsApp flight booking engine and sells KLM fares inside its own chat.
Yes, if you use the official WhatsApp Business API. You also need a processing agreement (verwerkersovereenkomst), a clear privacy notice and no uploading of staff phone contacts. The personal WhatsApp app on a work phone does not meet these AVG conditions.
Yes. The Telecommunicatiewet requires prior consent before you send marketing messages, and the ACM enforces this rule. Booking confirmations, payment reminders and delay alerts that the customer asked for are service messages, so they do not need marketing consent.
Meta charges per delivered message, and the price depends on the message type. Since 1 October 2026, each number gets 1,000 free service replies per month, and replies after that are charged. Utility templates inside the 24 hour window are now charged too, and marketing messages cost the most. Our booking engine fee is separate.
Yes. iDEAL is the default payment option in our WhatsApp checkout, because about seven in ten Dutch online payments use it. In 2026 the button shows iDEAL | Wero as iDEAL moves to Wero, and nothing changes for the customer. Visa, Mastercard and Apple Pay also work.
Yes, for your own customer service. Meta’s 2026 policy blocks general purpose AI assistants on the WhatsApp Business API, not a company’s own support bot. A travel chatbot that quotes fares and answers booking questions for your customers is allowed.
The cap makes cheap fares from Schiphol sell out faster. Parliament backed a limit of 478,000 flights a year, with at most 27,000 at night, about 4% fewer than today. Agencies that quote and ticket fastest win, and regional airports like Eindhoven and Rotterdam The Hague take more of the demand.
The traveller gets a WhatsApp message with new flight options and can accept one with a single tap. Under EU261, they may also claim €250, €400 or €600 depending on flight distance, and your team can start that claim from the same chat.
No. Many Dutch agencies issue tickets through a consolidator instead of their own IATA licence. Our guide on whether non IATA agents can sell flights explains both options.
Ja. The bot replies in Dutch and English and understands typos, airport nicknames and phrases like “volgende week vrijdag”. It also handles Turkish, Arabic, Polish and other languages your customers write in.
About 10 working days. Two things decide the timing: Meta verifying your KvK registered business and your team finishing its practice bookings.
The price depends on your number of users, ticket volume and connected fare suppliers. A two person reisbureau pays far less than a chain with 40 branches. Request a quote to get a price in euro.
